M L INJURIES

This guy is doing the Black Sox a favor by going on the DL. Thats probably why he's on the 60 and not the 15.

William Tabaka
William "Smokeless" Tabaka is on the DL Again. But hey its only the 15 this time.

Trot Borders
This overachieving Catcher will miss 5 months.

Wayne Zerbe
Just a short stay on the DL

Julio Mercado
Julio "Flea " Mercado will miss 5 months with a nerve problem. Ah... he only makes 10.7 million.

David Seanez
A Hernia will sideline this Cobra for 2 months. Cough* Cough*

Kelly Clinton
Just a tight groin here!!

Jerome Zaun
I lost 1 of my SP for the rest of the season and probably next year Too!! This is probably due to his signing a contract extension.

Thomas Anderson
This catcher will miss 3 weeks

Tarrik Francis
This future Hall of Fame pitcher is out 2 weeks. He's still very happy to be out of Vancouver.

Victor Lilly
Victor "Dew on the" Lilly will be out for 3 months with a torn hammy. He didn't take that bad of a hit. Look for the Delicate Flower in the free agent market next offseason.

WERE #1---A LOOK BACK AT #1 PICKS

SEASON 1

Rich Ward Boise Brown Sox Age: 32 B/T: R/R Born: Rio Rancho, NM Position(s): 2B/CIF/OF/DH View Hardball Dynasty Profile

Drafted by the Tuscon Horny Toads now the Arizona Cobras for 4,800,000. Rich "Hard on the Beaver" Ward  is with his 10th owner and plays for the Boise Brown Sox. Rich has been somewhat of a disapointment, probably due to his many travels. With only 1 All-Star appearance , 1 GG and 1 SS he will need to gather more awards to make the HOF.FUTURE: Rich will hit the free agent market next year and could get richer.

SEASON 2

Benito Ozuna Madison Muskellunges Age: 31 B/T: R/R Born: Wahoo, NE Position(s): SS/IF/OF/DH View Hardball Dynasty Profile

Drafted By the San Fransisco Wee Wee Kickapoos for 4,000,000. Benito "save the " Ozuna Spent all his career in the "Rice a Roni City". Until he was traded to the Pandemonium 2 years ago. Then He was dealt a few days later to The Supersonics, which are now called the Muskellunges. Benito has appeared in 5 All-Star games and won a All-Star MVP award. Add 4 SS awards and a WS ring and you could say he's had a good career.FUTURE: This Player could make the Hall. Ozuna could get a contract extension or a trade later this season.

SEASON 3

Wayne Snyder San Francisco Kickapoos Age: 30 B/T: R/R Born: La Moille, IL Position(s): 2B/SS/CF View Hardball Dynasty Profile

SEASON 5

Wayne Zerbe Tampa Bay Stars Age: 28 B/T: R/R Born: Pratt, KS Position(s): P (SP4) View Hardball Dynasty Profile

The Burlington Moose drafted  Wayne "World be Free" Zerbe for 4,000,000 and has been a solid ML pitcher. With a big league career record of 103 -48 with a ERA of 3.24. I'm suprised he has played in only 2 All-Star games. With no Awards to speak of, Zerbe just gets the job done. He does have a nice shiny WS ring to show for his labors tho. FUTURE:  He has 1 more year on his contract. So he may be dealt next year if he refuses a contract extension. Because of his lack of stamina he will not win a Cy-young. But could be a big part of another World Series run.

SEASON 6

Ossie Hyers Memphis Blues Age: 29 B/T: R/R Born: Rehoboth, NM Position(s): 1B/COF/DH View Hardball Dynasty Profile

Tommy "Mister" Peteman was signed by the Portland Pandemonium now the Minnesota Misfits. He signed for a pedestrian 3,900,000. He was traded in season 9 to the Memphis Blues where he won a World Series in season 11. Since that season, Peterman has been solid but not spectacular!! not that theres nything wrong with that.FUTURE: pbsilver has confidence in this kid . He signed him to a long term contract last year . So he will be a mainstay in the Blues rotation.

SEASON 8

Kris Karros Chicago Bleacher Bums Age: 29 B/T: L/L Born: Kingdom City, MO Position(s): P (SP1) View Hardball Dynasty Profile

He won the Rookie of the Year Award in season 11 and has played in 2 All-Star games. But the last 2 years he hasn't got much run support and could have a better win -loss record. FUTURE:  He just signed a 5 Year 41.5 million cotract extension . So looks as if he will be in Chicago for several years. If he continues not getting run support . Look for him to be dealt to a contender.

SEASON 9

Flash Reimold Atlanta Peachfuzz Age: 26 B/T: S/R Born: Glade Spring, VA Position(s): P (SP2) View Hardball Dynasty Profile

The Toledo Christian Beavers signed Flash "In a Pan" Reimold for 4,000,000. After a new owner came in season 13. Flash was promptly traded to the Peachfuzz. He has spent 3 years at the bigs and has a record of 29-25 with an ERA of 4.00. FUTURE:  This kid is still improving and still has great potential. If this team gets going he could be a future HOF'er. But right now he's average.

SEASON 10

Sidney Martin Milwaukee Sturgeon Age: 23 B/T: L/R Born: Noble, OK Position(s): SS/IF/OF/DH View Hardball Dynasty Profile

The Miwaukee Sturgeons signed Sidney "The Kidney" Martin for 4,000,0000. This Kid was promoted to the Bigs in at the age of 19. Not sure if that is the conventional way but it hasn't hurt him a bit. It could pad his stats for a HOF berth. But after getting a SS award he played in last years All-Star game.FUTURE: Look for him to sign a long term contract in next years Arb session. He will be a leader in stat Catagories at the end of his career.

SEASON 11

Jack Shave Scottsdale Shock Squad Age: 22 B/T: R/R Born: Aledo, TX Position(s): 3B/2B/RF/CF View Hardball Dynasty Profile

Blanco was traded to the Aztecs where he has won 2 minor league ROY's and a HighA Cy-Young. FUTURE:  The future is so bright for this kid he gotta wear Shades. Look for him to be promoted to AA and maybe we will see him next season in the Bigs.

SEASON 13

Vernon Nickle Indianapolis Indians Age: 20 B/T: L/L Born: Mojave, CA Position(s): P (SP2) View Hardball Dynasty Profile

Vernon "Gotta A" Nickle was drafted by the Salem Miracles. He signed for 4,000,0000 . Venon is the lowest overall of all the #1 picks . And he was promptly traded to Indy last season. It's to soon to tell whether this kid will play like a #1 player. But the odds are against him. FUTURE: He will be trade bait the rest of his career to sweeten the trade pot. He'll be passed around like Hiedi Fleiss at a Holywood Party.

SEASON 14

Khalil McNamara San Francisco Kickapoos Age: 22 B/T: L/L Born: Detroit, MI Position(s): 1B/RF View Hardball Dynasty Profile
