The ARIZONA COBRAS traded Andrew Halter and Wandy Corpas to the WASHINGTON D.C. WINGDINGS for John Suzuki and Asdrubal Morales with 2,000,000
Washington picks up a couple M L ready prospects. Arizona gets a solid player that Swish will put at 2nd base, and a good hitting 3rd baseman with some of his salary paid.

The ARIZONA COBRAS traded Josh Parker to the PITTSBURGH PIRATES for Dean Matusz
The Pitates get a 2 time FOY . Arizona picks up a S P with a poor RH split. Good for both teams, Arizona dumps some salary while Pittsburgh gets bullpen help.

The DURHAM BULLSHIPPERS traded Jimmie James to the SALEM SALMONBELLIES for Bob Neugebauer and 300,000
The Salmonbellies pick up a nice long relief/setup guy. The Bullshippers get a good young power hitter .

The MILWAUKEE STURGEONS traded Javier Manzanillo to the PITTSBURGH PIRATES for Esteban Solano
The Pirates gets a  power hitter looking for free agency next year.

The COLORADO SPRINGS BANDITS traded Luther Rapp and 4,000,000 to the CINCINNATI RED LIGHT DISTRICT for Zachrey Coleman and Ernie Cannon
Cincy gets a gold glove centerfielder with his salary paid. The Bandits get a SS/3B, with a pitching prospect thrown in.


Vicente Iglesias
The Bleacher Bums will have to get along without Vicente "Viggy" Iglesias for 2 weeks. He has a hurt tummy, Poor baby!

Destin Baldelli
The Roadrunner just dropped a Anvil on Wylies head. Destin "Snatched" Baldelli will miss the rest of the year with Elbow Surgery. Wylie can use some Advil not Anvil.

Willie Martinez
I'm gonna miss Willie "1 hour"Martinez  in centerfield. The 6 time gold glover will miss 2 weeks with a sore man boob.

Albert Perez
Albert Perez will miss the rest of the season with Elbow Surgery. The Posse just resigned Perez to a 5 year 29 million contract. Thats gonna hurt!!

Alexi Rios
The Cobras young Center Fielder was coming along nicely. Now Alexi "Fangoso" Rios will miss 4 months with nerve irritation. Up the river without a paddle comes to mind.

Chris Montgomery
No suprise here! Chris "Crispy" Montgomery will be a DL Darling. The Black Sox promoted him from AAA, and after 18 innings, he Crumbled. He will miss 3 months with Elbow Surgery.

Enrique Mangual
Enrique "Owners" Mangual is in the last year of his contract with the Tabaky Farmers. Now he will sit for a month and a half with a shoulder sprain. There really is no instructions on arm twisting.....I guess?? 

Ramiro Pena
Ramiro "Ball" Pena is back on the DL,and it is a little more serious than late last year. Ball Pena will miss most of the season with a labrum tear after signing a 5 year 31.3 million dollar contract extension.Daddio just got hammered ,but not the good kind!!
