View Hardball Dynasty Profile

LAST SEASON: 77-85

LAST YEARS PREVIEW: After the Truckstops broke out the Hose and washed away the muck and the sludge of the past. They Fixed up the old joint. So with a new coat of paint and a Neon sign. The Truckstops will win more games this year. The overhauled Truckstops may get a wild card. Prediction:87-75

OUT: Willy Daniels , Willie Hamilton , DaRond Brow , Freddie Mohr , Louie Mendoza , Don Dickson , Ricardo Torres , Tripp Kent , Hugh Lloyd , Derrin Price

IN: Aubrey Buss , Otis Mateo , Austin Hamilton , Marco Shouse , Bill Michaels , Pat Stargell , Craig Dodd , Fritz Baker , Thomas Marte , Steven Sedlacek , Eliezer Guzman , Pete Haas , Tsuyoshi Chang , Luis Olmedo , Ajax Yates , David Ewing , Bruce Davidson

PREVIEW: The Truckstops were abandoned on the side of the road Leaking fluid. District5's overhaul blew up in his face . As he walked away from the carnage he was heard muttering over and over. "It Blowed Up". Dullaghan was nice enough to take over this team in the middle of last season. He let all the high priced talent go and has the lowest overall payroll of 30 million. This team is put together with Duct tape and AAA players. Dullaghan will be picking up IFA's and draft picks this season. PREDICTION:62-100

Minnesota
Minnesota Misfits (AL)

LAST SEASON: 74-88

LAST YEARS PREVIEW: Looks like Portland unloaded a couple of big contracts in order to resign several players. The bats of Howard and Ramirez will be missed. But this team is still very good. Prediction:88-74

OUT: Rob Prinz , David Martin , Bey Robinson , Jake Alston , Kevin Leverton

IN: Rafael Benitez , Bing White , Raul Lima , Barney Livingstone , Willie Burgess , Pedro DeLeon

PBsilvers Preview: Portland did most of their wheeling and dealing last season, picking up Ricky Mann and Glenn Hull late. We then moved the franchise to Minnesota to make the hitters a bit more effective and give my speed demons a chance to get on base. This pre-season, we concentrated on picking up some relief pitching, promoting Geronimo Cruz and Manny Hall from AAA and gained Barney Livingstone and a couple of nice Rule 5 pitchers. Then when my 3rd baseman went down with a season ending injury, I had to give up Jake Alston in order to get Willie Burgess. Since innings eater Pedro DeLeon came along with the deal,I think I made out ok, but had to give up a nice prospect. If my pitching holds, I think I have chance to regain my superiority in this division, but and Trenton have done a nice job of improving their teams as well.
PREVIEW: Pbsilver moved the team from Portland to Minnesota during the offseason. This may be due to  his teams underpreformance last year. Pbsilver let a couple of pitchers go to free agency and waived a couple outfielders. He plugged the holes with a free agent,2 R-5's and 3 players who were picked up in trades. Pbsilver has new digs and some new players . He could win this division again. Prediction: 88-74

LAST SEASON: 64-98

LAST YEARS PREVIEW: With the offseason moves it looks like a classic Rebuild year. By shedding salary and picking up Bargain and R-5 players. The Aztecs still have 11 million in cap space. Look for Kumbia to build his farm system.Prediction:67-95

OUT: Enrique Cervantes , Bump Peters , Chuck Cummings , Cecil Graham , Evan Thomson , Sid Walsh , J.T. Ramsey , Duffy Peterman

IN: Lance Jeffcoat , Lloyd Perry , Ramon Suzuki , Don Dickson , Sammy Estrada , Tom Buckley , Alexander Stein , Mario Hunter

PREVIEW: It was a rebuild year for Kumbia. And this season he has 10 million in cap room after filling out his roster with mid-level free agents.he will continue his rebuild with draft picks and IFA's. PREDICTION: 70-92

LAST SEASON: 121-41

LAST YEARS PREDICTION: I believe that with all them superstars, its hard to pay them all. So mark had to let Tartabull and Ramirez go and replace them with older less expensive players. With that said, this team is still a force and perhaps older wiser players will be better in the post season. Worth a try! Prediction:105-57

OUT: Rafael Benitez , Pete Torres , Richard Nichols , Andre Scanlan , Al Hackman

IN: Jimmie Gonzalez , Al Bonifacio , Duffy Peterman

PREVIEW: Mark again had a dominate regular season. And again lost in the playoffs. 5 players left for the free agent market . He replaced them with a nice CF'er in a trade. Then filled the holes with a R-5 and a free agent. Mark and his Kickapoos are back to try again. They will win this Division and the odds are still in thier favor to win the Series. PREDICTION: 106-56

OUT: Jerome Floyd , Mike Malloy

IN: Cody Bird , Stephen Hayes , Dwight Webster

PREVIEW: Longtime Owner Snowedin has left Wrigleyville. He always wanted to persue his thespian dream. When i contacted him he told me he was up for the part of Charlie Harper on Two and a Half Men. Snow said: "Heck I don't have Tigers Blood but I do have Panther Piss". Good Luck Snow we are gonna miss ya! Snow sold the team to bobferg for the Phone Numbers of an Escort Service and a Coke Dealer. His name is Snow afterall. Bob moved the team to Cheyenne and has settled in nicely. This team is still intact with the addition of a nice SP#1 .Look for them to compete for a Wild Card.......again.PREDICTION:90-62

LAST SEASON: 71-91

LAST YEARS PREDICTION: I lost a good pitcher to rival Wichita and this year. Will be a year of picking up IFA's and draft picks. Perhaps next year I will bring in a high priced stud Player. For now we will be in the West basement. Prediction:70-92

OUT: Juan Sojo , Doc Thompson , Butch Punto , Heathcliff Bailes , Carson Monroe

IN: Tarrik Francis , Edgar Ibanez

PREVIEW: Last year my team finished where I thought they would. I let a handful of players leave for free agency and released a couple more. I signed Tarrik to a free agent contract and picked up a R-5 player. My team is still in a rebuild perhaps i can pick up some tasty IFA's . PREDICTION:75-87

LAST SEASON: 71-91

LAST YEARS PREDICTION: The Wind lost a couple of good players to F/A. But they also signed a couple of good ones. This team probably won't make the playoffs but their headed in the right direction. Prediction:81-81

OUT: Sammy Estrada , Freddy Weiss , Buster Griffey

IN: N/A

PREVIEW: Hoopcoach is starting his 4th year in Wrigleyville. So far  the Wind has been calm, but they may blow up anyday. Witchita let 3 players go to free agency. And filled the holes with late season call ups. It looks like Hoopcoach is going to give this squad another year to find thier way. He may pull the plug if this team Falters. Fire sales are a good thing sometimes.I still say this team is a .500 squad. PREDICTION:81-81

IN: Derrin Price , Kiki Duran , Stan Fassero , Sid Walsh , Oswaldo Castilla , Jerome Stevenson , Freddie Mohr , Hughie Leon , Mo Andrelczyk

PREVIEW: After winning the division from the upstart Colt 45's . The Stars fell to the same wild card Houston team in the playoffs. Jmas let several players go to free agency and released a handful more. True to jmas's form he brought in several big bats. and shored up his bullpen. The Stars will try to out score there oppopnents again this season. But in the playoffs it is said that pitching wins championships. Jmas's reply to that philosophy."Chicks dig the Long Ball". LAST SEASON: 88-74

LAST YEARS PREVIEW: The revamped Houston bullpen is much better and this may put them over the top. I like this team as my sleeper pick. Prediction: 90-72

OUT: Stan Fassero , Ewell Morris , Tommy Nixon , Willie Alcantara , Ronnie Bradley , Tomas Alvarez

IN: Nigel Hasegawa

PREVIEW: I told you this team was a sleeper. They made the playoffs and lost in the second round to the juggernaught Moose. Only a few bats and a couple of pitchers are gone from last years team. BBmogul did add a slugger to the team in a trade. Most holes were filled with late season callups. With the sahkeup in Tampa this team is poised to win the Division. PREDICTION: 90-72

View Hardball Dynasty Profile

LAST SEASON: 59-103

LAST YEARS PREDICTION: This team went through a major makeover. And with Talent added to the starting rotation. This team should increase their win total. Prediction: 81-81

OUT: Ken Hardtke , Roger French , Doug Pierre , Tony Duncan , Kennie Riley , Carlos Castilla , Harry Suarez , Billy Connor , Arthur Howard , Benjamin Taylor , Nicholas Jamison , Hughie Leon , Ryne Bryant , Ricardo Hernandez

IN: Hugh Lloyd , Carson Monroe , Ivan Bautista , Earl McDermott , Leo Leiter , Ben Towers , Charlie Christensen , Willy Daniels , Clyde Ratliff , Enrique Cervantes , John Merrick , Raul Flores , Raymond Clapp , Brent Reuschel , Donn Payton , Jeff Terry , Stan Rogers , Fausto Moreno , Ivan Ortiz , Jeff Terry

PREVIEW: Goodbye tjdove ,we barely new ya! It is rumored that incoming rookie owner sergei91 comes from a family of commodities traders. After he moved the team from Durham to Santa Fe he dismantled this team . Trading away anyone he could and releasing the rest. These rebuilds are a pain in the ass to preview. It sucks spending so much time on a team built from the Bargain Bin. I broke out the magic 8 ball to see what this team will do and it kept smoking and it melted . At least this team has plenty of cap room. PREDICTION: 62-100

Austin
Austin City Limits (NL)
wylie715
View Hardball Dynasty Profile

LAST SEASON: 57-105

LAST YEARS PREDICTION: Wylies team rebounded from a horrible season 11 to finish with 71 wins. So he uprooted the Charlotte Chimps and moved them to Austin. The new digs may help in ticket sales but on the field this team needs a little more.Prediction:75-87

OUT: Bill Green , Al Rodriguez , Chris Taylor , Dwight Webster

IN: Horacio Mesa , Santos Martinez , Julio Fernandez , Aramis Estrada

WYLIE'S PREVIEW: I'm not really expecting too much from my team this season. I'll be happy if we can finish at .500. I'm also hoping to pick up some good, almost-ready-for-primet time talent to go along with Omar Perez, Hector Ruth and Alex Cornelius

PREVIEW: Well......the move to Austin didn't help this team. In fact the fans were quite unruly near the end of the season. They were bringing cowchips to the game and flinging them at the Austin players. It's an improvement from the Chimp days. But flying excrement is still .....well.....flying excrement. Wylie made a couple of moves but not enough to keep the Chips from flying. PREDICTION: 70- 92

N L EAST PREVIEW SEASON 14

LAST SEASON: 109-53

LAST YEARS PREDICTION: Like I said ,Rugby only lost a couple of players and he still has 7 million in cap space. So he may do some promotions or pull off a trade later . Still this team is stout and they will battle San Juan for the Division. Prediction:98-64

OUT: Eli Fernandez , Timo Mahoney , Alex Quixote , Mo Andrelczyk , Willie Burgess , Pedro DeLeon

IN: Mike Malloy , Ramon Lo , Tyrone Handworth , Fred Lemke , Rick Gwynn , Jake Alston

PREVIEW: The Moose were loose in the playoffs and until the Series. They were swept by the upstart Tabaky Farmers. That may be why Rugby let two good pitchers go to free agency and traded another to the Misfits. He signed free agent Cy-Young winner LO brought in a young ace with the Misfits trade. Then Promoted 3 defensivly gifted Youngsters. Its amazing how Rugby puts a winner on the field every year. He must have Tiger Blood in his veins. PREDICTION:100-62

IN: Hal Whitehill , Rheal Scott , Chris Dawley , Joakim Acosta , Travis Hocking , Dale Barker

PREVIEW: Atlanta had a good season last year. But to reach the promised land you must make some sacrifices . He let a bunch of veteran players go to free agency and released a few more. Desanders then brought up several youngsters from the farm and claimed a catcher off the wire. One thing for sure ,this team will be throwing out the Geritol. Even though they are a young bunch the talent has improved but still not enough to win the division. Perhaps an outside chance at the #6 seed. PREDICTION: 87-75

Hshack bought this team for a Dubloon , a barnacle clad Skiff, a Treasure Map and a really cool Hat. Hshack Ordered Several free agents to walk the plank including Pitching Ace Francis. He then went out and spent 27 million on several free agents and added a R-5 player. With letting Francis and several other players go . Hshack was able to bring in talent to his liking. LAST YEARS PREDICTION: Seattle signed free agents Harris and Yamamoto to contracts. Finally they promoted Sanchez. Perhaps its another season on the mend in Seattle. But their payroll is low and they have 20 million in cap space. They could trade for a big star or transfer money to pick up tasty IFA's. Perhaps next year they will make their move. Prediction:70-92

OUT: Russ Phillips , Jeremy Cheney , Cam Sanders , Juan Romero , Taylor Workman

IN: Timo Mahoney , Dallas Carlyle , Pascual Vargas , Dioner Cano , Bernie James , Billy Ray Bryant

So he was signed by the Powerhouse Moose for a piddly 2 years 9.4 million. When asked how he will adjust to the pay cut.Lo had this to say. "Money its a Gas. Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash." Hmm .. Dark side of the Moose indeed!
