BONUS:3,600,000
At Age 22 it will take max training and some nice bumps to reach his lofty projections. Even if he doesn't make it. Walt "Oh" Henry will be a very good starting pitcher. My scouts never saw this guy.

BONUS:3,910,000
Brandon "Iron" Foxx has absolute killer kick-ass pitching projections. But his health rating is too low for my tastes. Time will tell if he's Iron or Pot-Metal?? I wasn't willing to chance it so I dropped him to the bottom 200 on my board.
#3

BONUS:6,303,000
Albert "In a Can" Glynn is also a very nice projected starting pitcher. Maybe thats why he held up the Sometimes for a extra 2,000,000. He will be worth the money in my opinion. He was #1 on my board

BONUS:3,720,000
Another kick-ass projected starting pitcher with health concerns. Walter "Peach Pit" Parker will need some luck and low innings pitched to make projections. Not scouted by my guys
#5
|
BONUS:3,630,000
Yannick Earley "Bird" will make the baseball fly far..far..away. But there will be no worm for this bird, due to a terrible health rating. I dropped him to the bottom of my draft list.
Wylies Take: my draft review is as follows: It doesn't matter who I draft or how good or bad they turn out to be. My team will continue to suck.

BONUS:6,018,000
It took an extra 3 million to sign this holdout. If he makes projections , Alex "Hard" Johnson will be a Solid #1 or #2 starting pitcher. His age and health may keep him from hitting projections. But I was willing to take a chance. Thats why I had him ranked #3 on my board.
#7
|
BONUS:3,300,000
Mark "Mister" Carter could be Outasight. Sometimes he will look like Boom Boom Washington. Other times he will resemble Arnold Horsehack. Welcome Back Mister Kot-taire!! Not scouted by my guys.
#8

BONUS:3,350,000
Carlos Castilla will not be able to pitch many complete games. But he has a good chance to reach his projections.look for him in the bigs in 3-4 years as a #5 or Long relief guy.I had him ranked #7 on my board.
#9
|
BONUS:3,250,000
Tamura wil be a very good all around 3rd baseman. He could be a solid player for many years. Look for him in 2-3 years. He was #11 on my list.
ARDTHOMPS's TAKE: With the 9th pick in the draft, the Pittsburgh Pirates selected Hong-Chih Tamura . He projects to be a middle of the road player, doing a lot of things well, but nothing great. He adds even more depth to the second base spot for this organization, which wasn't really needed, but based on rankings, he will compete for playing time on this team.
#10
|
BONUS:6,312,000
This player held out for the highest bonus in this years draft. And I don't see why. Perhaps he was represented by his Mother. They can be demanding on financial negotiations.Raul Castro projects to be a good Big league pitcher just nit a great one. Time will tell wheather he's worth the Cash. His low health numbers may cost Chicago. My scouts never saw this prospect.

BONUS:5,127,000
Josh "Look what I can Do" Stuart's mom would be proud. This future GG shortstop can hit for power. A poor lefty hitting split is his only shortfall. Boise will be looking after him in the minors for about 4 years. He was my #2 ranked player.
#12
|
BONUS:2,970,000
With another Starting pitcher taken . This has to be one of the deepest drafts for SP'ers. Phillip "Mr" Haney will need just a couple more years to reach projections. With great Control and Splits he could be a future allstar. But with only one good pitch ,Haney may need a great pitch calling catcher to be super. I had him #6 on my board.
#13
|
BONUS:2,880,000
I had this starting pitcher ranked #5 on my draft board. Mainly for his great Control and Splits. I would have ranked him higher but his lack of a great pitch and low health concerned me.
SWISH's TAKE: With the 13th pick of the first round the Cobras selected Jerome Cochrane ,a lanky southpaw that we hope will be able to combat the LH power in the AL West in the future and strenghten the back of the rotation. ETA to Majors: late callup-Season 20.

SIGNING BONUS:2,790,000
Haywood "We R" Marshall Will be a solid 2nd baseman who will hit around .290-.300 His range may hurt him a tad. May get packaged in a trade next year.He was never found by my pathetic scouts.
#15
|
BONUS:2,690,000
I never saw this nice draftee. But I would have ranked him high due to his great pitching projections and health/make-up. Seeing how he's already 22 he may need only 1-2 years in the minors. Not scouted by my guys.
#16

BONUS:3,796,000
Another late signing Shortstop. Gerald O'Neil wont be a Gold Glover but he wont embarass you either. He will be a solid hitter .And with good speed he will swipe about 20-30 bases.look for this all-around solid player in 2-3 years. he was a "Wasn't scouted well enough" on my board.
