THE WEEK IN WRIGLEYVILLE S-19 #3

TRADES

The MADISON MUSKELLUNGES traded Phillip Pryce to the ARIZONA COBRAS for Christian Shin , Art Desmond and Rudy West
Arizona gets a great CF/2nd base prospect ready for the Bigs.He may be a injury risk so Swish may limit his innings.Madison builds for the future with 2 prospects and a major league ready #5 or long relief guy.

The SCOTTSDALE SHOCK SQUAD traded Kordell Madson to the BOSTON KNIGHTS for Tomas Alvarez and 3,600,000
Scottsdale gets a Starting Pitcher that has put together 1 good season in 8 years. Perhaps this will change with a great Scottsdale defense behind him.? Boston gets a nice prospect with potential.

The BURLINGTON COAT FACTORIES traded Les Crawford and Stump Lawson to the AUSTIN CITY LIMITS for Don Nunnally and 4,600,000
Burlington upgraded their defense with the addition of Nunnally. Now can they can keep him off the DL? Austin get 2 good prospects.

The WITCHITA WIND traded Kyle Romero and Milton Kinkade to the BURLINGTON COAT FACTORIES for Phil Koh , Tony Romero and Eduardo Villa
Burlington gets a stud SS that the Wind found in the R-5 several years ago, and a DH. Witchita gets 3 very tasty pitching prospects. Good trade for both teams

The Hartford Crushers traded Wandy Durazo to the MADISON MUSKELLUNGES for Bernie James
Hartford needs some minor league pitching help to replace the exhausted ones.Madison is the first to step up with a helping hand. Nice

The ARIZONA COBRAS traded Bernie James and Wally Clark to the PITTSBURGH PIRATES for Robb Holder and 2,750,000
Arizona gets a nice long relief guy and some of this years salary paid. Pittsburgh gets 2 very nice pitching prospects.

The LOUISVILLE HOWLERS traded Tino Wood , Rich Gosling and Harold Pierzynski to the HARTFORD CRUSHERS for Stu Riske
Louisville chips in 3 pitchers yo help out Taz21.

The CHARLESTON TOBACCO FARMERS traded Del Gallardo to the HARTFORD CRUSHERS for Les Plesac
Charleston gives a pitcher also!!

M L INJURIES

Raul Lima
Raul Lima will miss several months with Elbow Surgery. Anything goes in the Red Light District.

Joe Valdes
Joe "Momma" Valdez is back on the DL Again. He never recovered from the Swine Flu epidemic last year in Colorado Springs.

Byron Weathers
Just a broken finger for Byron "Stormy" Weathers. He does have a temper and tends to flip the bird. Now he will have to use his other hand.

Ernest Truman
Ernest "Would I Lie" Truman is a DL Darling. This time its a sore back. Maybe he's crying wolf??
