The ARIZONA COBRAS traded Sammy Oropesa to the PITTSBURGH PIRATES for R.J. Lima
Theres no denying that Pittsburgh got a good hitting Catcher/DH. At first glance he looks like liability behind the plate, Ive seen worse. But I could never put a 43 pitch caller in my lineup,my pitching isn't good enough.Arizona got a much better Defensive catcher who can platoon against lefties.He also will hit one out every once in a while.
M L INJURIES
Don Lim
"Out on a" Lim is on the DL .....again.You have to feel for Ehull who lamented the injury to the once gifted SS.He will miss 2 months with a sore foot. Next year will be his last ARB year and he will probably be traded.
Livan Bonilla
Livan "Pick a" Bonilla was not happy when he took a 2 million dollar pay cut.But he got a 7 million bonus so he's a Bone head for being upset.He's already back on the job after his groin loosened up.
Edgar Santos
The Howlers signed Edgar "Bad" Santos as an after thought.So far he has given up 6 earned runs in 3.1 innings. Maybe he should stay on the DL??
Terry Jordan
Get used to seeing Terry "Cloth" Jordan on the DL. He should be a future D L Darling with his thin health rating. This former #2 pick will be on the DL for 2 weeks with a sore shoulder.
Harry Megias
Just 3 games into his sophomore season, Harry "Crack Up" Megias got Totaled. He will miss 8 months due to Elbow Surgery. Poor Madison,They may need a Dolly to get him back on the mound.
T.J. Herman
T.J. "Hookem" Herman won't be shipping any Bull for 2 weeks.This Texas native suffered a forearm stress fracture at a A&M game.Making the Hook em Horns sign can be dangerous.
Edgar Martinez
Edgar "Go" Martinez just got slower . This White Sox R-5 pickup will miss 3 months with Elbow Tendinitis and should get back to his snail ways.
Roberto Cedeno
The White Sox got hit with a double whammy when Roberto "Calamity" Cedeno went down with a torn groin.He will miss 3 months and who knows how the Bad Luck Black Sox will fare.
Fonzie Bittle
Fonzie "VW" Bittle will miss 2 weeks with back spasms. The Colorado Springs Bandits will get him a some Farfennugen Treatments.
Juan Durazo
The Bandits had another player injured. Juan "Ton" Durazo complained of a finger blister after testing the temprature of his soup. Juan ton aint to bright, but he will be back in 2 weeks.
Johan Sullivan
Johan "Yobad" Sullivan is out 3 weeks with a dislocated shoulder.This former #10 pick has been a big disapointment since his callup.The Toyotas may recall him to AAA.
Ricardo Jacquez
This guy never belonged in the bigs and it killed him.The Black bears will just cover him up with dirt and leaves and come back when he's ripe.Thats what Bears do!!
