The TACOMA TOYOTAS traded  Damaso Martinez to the SANTA FE BLUES for Apollo West and 900,000.
Santa Fe gets a defensive minor leaguer. Tacoma gets crusty old Apollo West, who was once, one of the most feared closers in Wrigleyville. He will go out a Tacoma, It's only right.

Wally "Cleaver" Clark will miss 2 weeks with a sore shoulder. He's been pretty hard on the Beav lately.

Tony Amaral "Cracker" is out 2 weeks with a bone spur. A Circus in every box.


Gill Laffey
Gill "Last" Laffey will miss 3 months with a stress fractured elbow. Mdymond is not laughing.

Davey Wise

Kirby "Salesman" Blair will miss 2 weeks with a strained hammy. Next year he will be a Free Agent and will be knocking at your door with a free, no obligation, demonstration.


Phil Satou
Phil "Used" Satou will be out 8 months with elbow surgery. Has anyone been shipped around or dumped in free agency more than Phil? Phil, feels used!


Matt Kreuter
Matt "Re" Kreuter will miss 2 months with elbow tendinitis. If Ralph has many more guys go out...he may have to recruit some replacements?
