THE WEEK IN WRIGLEYVILLE S-22 #5

TRADES
The BOSTON KNIGHTS traded James Wainhouse and William Resop to the WASHINGTON D C WINGDINGS for Andrew Halter and Willie Alonso
Washington gets a nice young pitcher and a corner infielder. Boston gets a homerun hitter and a good shortstop. Both teams gets their needs filled.

M L INJURIES
Jose Sanchez
Jose "PB+J" Sanchez went on the 15 day DL with a buldging disk. Perhaps he will be traded for a Tuna Fish Sandwich?

Luis Cortes
Luis "ES" Cortes will miss a month with a sore shoulder. Looks like he will go back to being a couger boy toy.

Ernest Truman
It's the dreaded Elbow Surgery for Earnest "Would I Lie" Truman. He's a DL darling and thats no Lie!

Juan Mota
It's a devastating injury to Juan "D" Mota .He will miss the rest of this year and some of next year. He puts the D in DL.

Rheal Scott
Really!!!?? Rheal "E" Scott is back on the 60 DL with Elbow Tendinitis. Not sure if he will be traded yet again. Anyone want sloppy 5th's ???

William Tabaka
I'm suprised to see William "Smokeless" Tabaka on the DL after 7 years. I had him pegged for a DL darling . Nwsheehy must be using smoke an mirrors.Regardless he's out 6 weeks with a sprained shoulder.

Joe Valdes
Oh Mama! I told you last year we hadn't seen the last of Joe "Mamma" Valdes. He's back on the DL for 2 weeks with a sprained ankle. Ressda can be heard crying...."I want my Mommy"
