THE WEEK IN WRIGLEYVILLE SEASON 28 #4

After several lawsuits form various owners in Wrigleyville.

My lawyers Dick Hertz and Dick Tater of the law firm Two Swinging Dicks forced me to add this disclaimer.

All comments on trades and International Free Agents are solely the opinions of Madmuldoon and do not reflect the views of sane and responsible adults. There is no malice or thought in the disparaging sophmoric comments of the said Madmuldoon.

TRADES
The SEATTLE MARINERS trade Brandon Giolito and Harry Ordonez to the MADISON MUSKELLUNGES for Gene Murphy and Harry Jensen and 1,500,000
Madison continues their sell off and ships a dependable starting pitcher and a young catcher to Seattle . They get a really nice pitching prospect and a young defensive player.Seattle is making a run at the division trying to get to the playoffs. And the 2 newbies will help in both. Madison is building a future Juggernaut.

The AUSTIN CITY LIMITS traded Michael Sparks to the LOUISVILLE REDTAILS for Pablo Lee
This is another trade of a team trying to win now and another building for the future. Austin is getting a shut down closer with 217 career saves. Louisville gets a youngster that will hit for a high average but may spend allot of time on the DL.

The MADISON MUSKELLUNGES traded Curtis MedinaThurman Barkett and Trenidad Julio to the CHEYENNE BAGWELL BASHERS for Yunel Diaz
Another huge Madison trade. They pick up another nice young pitcher, this time from Cheyenne. He is mostly cooked and is already in the bigs. The Bagwell Bashers pick up 2 young bats and a young pitcher. Maybe this will help out Cheyenne with the injury bug going around, by giving them more options. I know the trade was beneficial to Madison.

The TAMPA BAT RAYS traded Derrek O'Brien and 2,100,000 to the TACOMA TOYOTAS for Nicholas Whitney and Rodrigo Cruz
Tacoma is another team streaking to the playoffs.Ughh, naked Toyotas are a disturbing site. Sandberg added some pitching depth and needs to put O'Brien on the roster before O'Simi Bin Downloden steps in and puts him on the wire. The Rays get 2 prospects that also have yet to be assigned. Don't lose them players fellas.

M L INJURIES
Corky Walter
Its been several years since we've seen Corky "Under" Walter on the DL. He came to the surface and will be out 4 weeks due to a sprained shoulder. I hope this injury doesn't sink the Utes season..........wait they are in my division. It's it bad for me to hope that.................... ???

Al Jodie
It seems my players are taking their turn on the DL. This week it's my R-5 pickup Al "That Bitch" Jodie. She will miss 2 months with a bulging disk in his back and was in my line-up to rest my GG Cf'er .She got that job done and I think she's done for the season, unless Al Martin goes down. Knock on wood!

Yannick Earley
Yannick "Panic" Earley is on the D L for the sixth time in his career. He only missed 2 weeks with a sore Man Boob and is already back on the field. Not a good start on his 4 year 6.5 million per contract. Jmuhtoff has beads of sweat on his brow!! Is it thinking about Early's injury or Man Boobs???

Rabbit Paulino
Rabbit "Foot" Paulino has always been fortunate to have god given abilities to play baseball. He's part of the future in Cheyenne and this 1 month injury hurts. Luckily he didn't take a big hit on his numbers.

Shawn Barfield
It will be 2 weeks on the DL for Shawn "Fully Stocked" Barfield. He strained a quad while trying to drink his way from the Bourbons through to the Gins. Some day he'll get to the Tequilas ,then he will be virtually indestructible and never be injured again.

Alex Suarez
Alex "I Swear" Surez hits the D L for 2 weeks with a strained Hammy. This guy will be forced to sit and run his mouth instead of running the bases.
