This week was Interesting . We had a Terrorist Attack, a few Major Injuries and the internationals were weak .Some teams are already shoring up their rookie squads.


TRADES

We had some trade problems in Wriglyville courtesy of that Cyber Terrorist "Osimmy Bin Downlodin". So I am posting how the trades finally turned out. And not all the Mistaken ones that led up to the trades.

SAN FRANSISCO Traded Sidney Tresh and Joaquin Morlan to CINCINATTI for Juan Alvarado
San Fransisco gets a Big Bat for one Year . Cincy gets some young pitching help and defensive minor league help. This trade gives S.F. Some more pop and Cap flexability.


JACKSON Trades Tom Henley , Chad Wilson and Rick Cashman to BOSTON for Eddie Whitehill
Boston Gives up a super SP but gets a Future ML 2nd baseman and two good solid pitchers. Both clubs should improve.

Jorge Valdez
This Indians pitcher is out for 60 days with Elbow tendinitis.took a minor hit in points.
Gabby Flanagan
This Elderly player is on the 60-Day DL with an Ankle,Torn Ligament.Bad luck for Madison.
Paxton Leach
Just a minor Shoulder Dislocation for this Moose Player.
Rick Reagan
A Minor Broken Finger for this Boston LF'er.
Donaldo Cordero
This San Diego Pitcher is out 270 days with Elbow Surgery.Could ruin his ML career.
Albert Cox
Just a little Elbow Inflamation for this Toledo Pitcher.
Arthur Howard
Just a bit of a back strain for this Portland rookie catcher.

Toledo picked up this 18 year old 2nd baseman from the Dominican Republic and signed him for 1.9 Mil. Matos will be an average ML hitter with speed and Baserunning skills. His range is a little low for 2nd but for 1.9 mil he's worth a try.Nice pick-up for the price.

The Moonbats are just stocking their Rookie team with some defensive help. Martinez will never see the Bigs unless the DITR ferry visits him!!!

Rafael Pimentel Hartford Crushers Age: 19 B/T: R/R Born: Guadalajara, MX Position(s): P (SP5) View Hardball Dynasty Profile

Hartford grabbed this Mexican 19 year old pitcher and signed him for 5.1 mil. Rafael will be a very good closer with Great Control ,Splits and first pitch. His Velocity is a little low but still nice pick-up.

Al Bonifacio Jackson Justice Age: 18 B/T: L/R Born: San Luis Potosi, MX Position(s): SS View Hardball Dynasty Profile

Jackson signed this 18 year old Mexican for a 3.6 mil bonus. Al Bonifacio is a defensive Gem with all the defensive numbers above 90. He will strike out alot with a terrible hitting Eye and low splits. His contact and bunting numbers are decent so he could be that late inning bunt a guy over and defensive replacement.O.K. pick

The Salmonbellies snatched this 18 year old Fireballer from Venezuala. Sojo signed for only 1.9 Mil, Damn!!! This kid has a Smoking Fastball and a deadly slider. Add good Control and decent splits and you may have a future FOY here. His only weakness is a low stamina rating. One inning and he's done.

Fargo picked up this 19 year old Dominican and signed him for 2.8 mil. Horacio Has such a low RH split that he will only pitch to lefties. And his only good pitch is a good sinker.He does have super Control so he may be a Situational Pitcher. But I doubt it.
