SIGNING BONUS: 2,500,000

When this pitcher takes the mound its the batters that will have to wear Armour. He will throw that 100 MPH fastball with a low control rating. Which means alot of hit batsmen. Now that'll leave a mark. Other than that with his great stamina and splits he should get his shot at the Majors.

#18

Bob Neugebauer
San Diego

The Slamonbellies pick held out foe more coin and mdymond was happy to pay it. This kid is a classic slugger with all hitting Projections in the 70's and 80's. Defnsivly he will be a average 1st baseman .But because of a low health projection  he should be a DH only.

#19

Byron Weathers
Hartford
Crushers
Age: 20B/T: L/L

SIGNING BONUS: 2,205,000

This player will hit a ton of Homers . He has an impressive overall projection of 83 but defensivly he will have to play LF /1B/DH. He may not play him at 1st because of his Lefty throwing arm. once this masher gets to the plate he will make pitchers pay . With most projections in the 80's he is a shoe in to hit 30 homers a season. His health rating is low so he probably will spend time Injured.
#20

Miguel Martis
Tampa Bay
Stars
Age: 19B/T: R/R
Born: Charleston, SC
Position(s): SS

SIGNING BONUS: 2,220,000

This cat is a defensive gem. With all his defensive projections in the 90's he can play anywhere and excell. He also has great baserunning skills but lacks speed to be a leadoff hitter. He should hit RH pitching with ease but should ride the pine against lefties. Look for him in about 3-4 years and he should win a few Gold Gloves.
#21

Brent Tollberg
Chicago
Aztecs
Age: 22B/T: L/R
Born: Woodbury, CT
Position(s): 2B

SIGNING BONUS: 2,130,000

This young man played 2nd base in college, But with a weak throwing arm. He will play LF/1stbase in the bigs. He has excellent speed and baserunning skills and should hit a high average against righties. Against lefties he will struggle a tad but will hit lower in the order. At 22 years already it will be a challenge to make his projections.
#22

Agent is playing Hardball
#23

Livan DeJesus
Chicago
Aztecs
Age: 18B/T: R/R
Born: Sheffield, IA
Position(s): 3B

SIGNING BONUS: 1,940,000

This second pick of the Aztecs is younger and can throw harder. He will probably start at 3rd but if his low range gets into the way you will see him in the outfield. He will hit about .280-.300 and will make smart choices on the bases. His slow speed will keep him from swiping many bags and low health is also a concern.
#24

Kimera Oliver
San Juan
Santurce Crabbers
Age: 18B/T: R/R
Born: Fort Smith, AR
Position(s): P (P)

SIGNING BONUS: 1,850,000

This kid is a 3 pitch Closer.. With pinpoint control he will fire a upper 90's fastball a good curve with an average changeup. He will be effective against RH hitters but may get hammered by Lefties. Stamina is a concern if asked to go more than three batters.
#25

Jose Sanchez
Syracuse
Moose
Age: 21B/T: R/R
Born: Covington, OK
Position(s): CF/CIF/2B/OF/DH

SIGNING BONUS: 1,750,000

This college kid could play CF for Moose . I say "could" because even though he has the range for CF. His Glove,Arm strength and accuracy are below average. Maybe his blazing speed will make up for those deficiencies. At the plate is where he will excell with numbers in the 60's and 70's. His lack of power will make him a #1 or #2  Hitter.
#26

Buddy Day
Memphis
Blues
Age: 18B/T: L/L
Born: Woonsocket, SD
Position(s): CF

SIGNING BONUS: 1,660,000

This kid may have played CF back home on the reservation but in the Bigs he will play RF/LF. This little Brave will run the bases and swing at only the good pitches. Making contact will be a problem with a projection in the 40's. This kid really wanted to play for the Injuns perhaps a trade will be in the works next season!!
#27

Michael Henry

Here is the first and only Catcher taken in the first round(Not counting supplemental). This Monster Crusher will be crushing the ball off of RH pitching . If I had to nitpick ,It would be his Arm and accuracy are below average.
#28

He's not Moose material??
#29

Claude Coleman
Tampa Bay
Stars
Age: 22B/T: R/R
Born: Blooming Grove, TX
Position(s): SS

SIGNING BONUS: 1,380,000

The Stars went for another SS in the first round. But unlike Martis, this guy is a better hitter than a fielder. He may be suited to play 3rd base or RF rather than SS. He also will be a liability on the basepads with low baserunning projections. But he will shine at the plate with good numbers across the board.
#30

Taking his time !!
#31

Bump Tyson
Helena
Barking Moonbats

SIGNING BONUS: 6,985,000

WOW!! 7 Million for the 31st pick. Who was his agent?? John Dillenger perhaps. This kid may be an All-Star in the Bigs. With great defensive projections he will also hit for a high average. His weakness is a lack of speed and low health projections. The Moonbats hope to get thier moneys worth!!
#32

JO JO says NO NO !!!
