TRADES
The AUSTIN CITY LIMITS traded Jung Kim to the PITTSBURGH PIRATES for Jeremie Moore , John Ishikawa and Lyle Alexander
Ard continues to give his team a chance to win his division and get them to the post-season. He traded for a veteran starter that has 222 career wins. Wylie gets 3 prospects and frees up 8 million in cap space. Great trade for both teams.

The ARIZONA COBRAS traded Adam Green to the LOUISVILLE REDTAILS for Jorge Guerrero
Jmuhtoff is in a playoff race with Pittsburgh and Richmond.  He traded for a DH that could hit some if he gets a big league promotion. ???  Swish is another owner who continues to build a future contender. He acquired a nice catching prospect that will be a future mainstay at the backstop in Arizona. 

The LOUISVILLE REDTAILS traded R.J. Roque to the JACKSON BLACK BEARS for Jerry James
I looked at this trade and scratched my head. Has Jmuhtoff thrown in the towel even though his team is 2 games out of the division title(as of this writing). Maybe he figures even if he gets in the post-season he will lose in the first round, and might as well make some moves for next year. I'm just throwing stuff out there and guessing. But I do know that Jackson picked up a serious power bat for the playoffs. A final note, Jmuhtoff was probably gonna lose Roque to free agency so he may have figured to get something for him...

The ARIZONA COBRAS traded Ed Corbin to the LOUISVILLE REDTAILS for Jeffrey Moreno and 100,000
Swish continues to pick up good players on the cheap. This is the second time he has traded away Corbin for a player. Last time he picked up Jimmie Sanchez for him.....Nice! Jmuhtoff's team gets younger.

Harry Padilla
Harry "I" Padilla lasted 18 days before he went on the DL again. This time it was only 2 weeks with a strained hammy. Ihateunc is trying to get the bugs out of his new I-Padilla. 


Damaso Gardel
Damaso "National" Gardel will miss 2 weeks with a sore shoulder. With 53 homers the entire country is talking MVP!


Ezequiel Pinzon
Ezequiel "It's better to be pissed off than" Pinzon was put on the 60 DL even though it's a 2 week injury. Who's getting pissed on, Pizon or Mdymond???


Hooks Giovanola
Hooks "Line and Sinker" Giovanola is out the rest of the year and the post-season with a ankle bruise. This may Sink the Blitz's hopes of a World Series Ring. 

Jumbo Smith
Jumbo "Jet" Smith will be out 2 weeks with a strained shoulder. Dmann will want to patch Jumbo's wing and get him back ...IF....he makes the playoffs.

The NEW BRITAIN BRUINS traded Hensley Lyon , Johnny Mitre , Louis White and 1,500,000 to the AUSTIN CITY LIMITS for Mack Diaz

That usually means a trade is coming and Diaz is the first casualty of a disappointing year. He was shipped off to the Bruins who are going into the post season . The kid has a long career ahead and should fit nicely into Dodgers plans. Austin got a older 3rd-baseman with a couple of  good pitching prospects.From my past experiences with frustration ........Perhaps Wylie needs to start drinking ? Makes a losing season seem better!

The JACKSONVILLE JUGGERNAUTS traded Danny Wilson , Anibal Rosado , Gary Stern to the PITTSBURGH PIRATES for Harry Lucano
Jacksonville is another team that for some reason or another , didn't have success this year. They shipped 3 of their M L players to Pittsburgh for a young pitcher. Pittsburgh is still in a fight for his division title. Ard is doing everything he can to get to the post-season. Short of Rape, Pillaging and Plundering...AAARRGGHHH.

Miguel Baez
Sometimes your the windshield ...........sometimes your the Bug!  Miguel "Groan" Baez is the Bug. He herniated a disk in his neck and will be out 7 months. Hatton signed Groan Baez to a 5 year/38.5 million contract in this off-season. Sometimes your the 18 wheeler........Sometimes your the varmit in the road. Splat!!


Vince Williams
Vince "Meat Pie" Williams is already back on the field after spending 2 weeks on the DL with a stiff hammy. Vince will want a bigger slice of the pie in next years arbitration negotiations . 


Haywood Webber
Yep..he's a Wilbur. Haywood "Charlotte's" Webber is on the DL for the second time this year. This time it's a sore Quad and he should be back on the field in a day or two. 


Midre Duran
This ones gonna leave a mark!! Midre "Duran" Duran will miss a year with a torn ACL. Rugby can be heard singing "Out of my mind" over and over again! 


Kris Karros
After TC signed Kris "Special K" Karros to a big contract 2 years ago. He missed most of season 23 with elbow surgery. Since then he has been healthy until now. This time it's minor and should only miss a couple of weeks with inflammation in his surgically repaired elbow. TC will have to milk him one more year before the elbow goes all soggy!


Jalal Milton
Jalal "Must be Crazy" Milton is out 7 months with elbow surgery. Nuts!!! he was a good R-5 pickup for the Crabbers.

TRADES
The CHEYENNE BAGWELL BASHERS traded Billy Ensberg and 5,000,000 to the MADISON MUSKELLUNGES for Charles Scott , Jesus Rodriguez and Carlton Sheets
Billy's huge contract doesn't scare Daddio. He wanted one of his favorite players back even at 20 million a year . Cheyenne picked up 2 very nice prospects and a position player who hits in the .270's with 20+ homers. I think maybe the Muskies were the only team willing to take Ensberg and his big contract. We do get attached to our star players. So Madison is happy and I'm sure Cheyenne is happy...Everybody's happy!! Happy!! ............Happy!!!!.....everybody get up and be Happy!!!


The MADISON MUSKELLUNGES traded Ryan Monroe to the LOUISVILLE REDTAILS for Gene Murphy and Donaldo Balboa
Looks like Madison is shedding some salary by trading a 5 million dollar catcher, that was playing 1st base. He was expendable with Billy coming back home. The Redtails gave up 2 pretty good prospects and get a good bat for the stretch.


The CINCINNATI RED LIGHT DISTRICTS traded Theo Walters to the LITTLE ROCK MOONSHINERS for Jim Parker and 100,000
I think this trade is about the 100 grand. Perhaps jeff needed some cap for a promotion. He does have the highest cap and money is tight. 


The SAN FRANCISCO KICKAPOOS traded Kosuke Wang , Rocco Spilborghs and Yamil Amaro to the CHICAGO LEGION for Buddy Koloff , Odalis Suarez , Jamie Bradley and 1,300,000
This trade sets up the Kicapoos for next year. They will be a beast in the coming years. Chicago picked up a couple bluechip prospects that still need a couple years in the farm system. 2 new managers helping each other out...Nice!


The SALEM SALMONBELLIES traded Duane Brignac to the CINCINNATI RED LIGHT DISTRICTS for Timothy LeCroy
The Red Light districts pick up a utility guy that was stuck in AAA limbo. He should get some playing time if Jeff rests some guys for the post-season. Mdymond gets a pitching prospect with a killer fastball.

Ryan Buck
Ryan "Spend a " Buck got the call-up earlier this year to eat some innings. Now he will be sitting at home spending that promotion cash for 2 weeks, after he strained his shoulder. He is one a few DITR's to get a shot at the majors and some money. 


Tim Oliver
Tim "Martini" Oliver is going to miss the rest of the year with a elbow strain. He took a pay cut in free agency this year. Maybe he was a little shaken not stirred up. 


Floyd McAnaney
The Black Bear defensive machine, Floyd  "the Droid" McAnaney is back on the DL. A broken clavicle will keep him out the rest of the season and most of the post-season. Olemiss is going to ....well.....miss this gold glover in Center Field. 


Kyle Romero
Kyle "When In" Romero was brought in to take Jmuhtoffs RedTails to the next level. His 2 week injury is par for this years problems. His putts have been more Out than In. 


Chris James
This one really, Really hurts! 20 million dollar Chris "PY" James is toast. He will be out for 7 months with shoulder surgery. The Pirates season is getting Burned by the DL Monster.


Nolan Adams
For the second time this year ,Nolan "Grizzly" Adams is on the DL. His stiff neck is becoming a bear of a problem.
