The NEW BRITAIN BRUINS traded Yannick EarleyAdam Green and 3,400,000 to the ARIZONA COBRAS for Johnny Stone
This trade started when Swish posted this message
:any AL contenders have a use for Johnny Stone ? It would be nice if he got another playoff run in. I'd let you have him for very little so let me know, thanks.
Dodger ever a one to leave no stone un-turned, traded Early with his contract paid and Green for Johnny "Rolling" Stone. The Bruins have added a big bat in decline that though he has lost some power, can still rake it. The Cobras get a DL darling  in Early ,who is already being shopped. And  young Green who was riding the pine in New Britain. This trade makes sense. A DH on a N L team is like putting a screen door on a submarine.

The ARIZONA COBRAS traded Javier Lopez and Wilbur Watson to the MINNESOTA MISFITS for Eddie Woods
Big trade here! PB's Misfits have him off to the point. That he shipped a prize pitching prospect to Arizona in exchange for a young future MVP contender and a nice young bullpen arm. Both teams have needs The Misfits need to score more runs (understatement) and the Cobras are building for the future. Good trade for both.

The SANTA FE BLUES traded Chien-Ming Chang and 1,900,000 to the WITCHITA WIND SIZZLERS for Boone Lamb
To celebrate DITR Day. One team traded a old DITR for a Young DITR. G-DITR DONE!!

The TACOMA TOYOTAS traded Buddy KoloffJamie Bradley and Willard Browne to the CHICAGO LEGION for Matt Hill
This trade is to fix the damage done by a previous owner. Sandberg was gracious enough to trade Koloff and Bradley back to the new owner for nothing.

The JACKSONVILLE JUGGERNAUTS traded Goose Marte and 4,500,000 to the CHICAGO LEGION for Rey Donahue
The next three trades are also to fix the Legion. 4.5 million was most generous, thanks for the fish, wish.

The NEW BRITAIN BRUINS traded Howie Sweeney and 3,800,000 to the CHICAGO LEGION for Hensley Lyon
Dodger chipped in 3.8 million and got a decent prospect.

THE MADISON MUSKELLUNGES traded Victor St. Clair and 2,000,000 to the CHICAGO LEGION for Darron Collins
Daddio chipped in 2 million and also got a bullpen prospect.

Alcides Gil
Alcides "Fish" Gil will miss 2 weeks with a dislocated shoulder. He was a prized catch for Cincy after he helped the Coat Factories 3 peat. He's a big fish in the bullpen.

Stump Lawson
Stump "Short arm of the" Lawson will miss a month with shoulder tendinitis. He has been on a short leash in Austin after a few so so seasons. He still has one more year left on his contract so Wylie will be bent over the stump one more year. There aught to be a Law against that!

Olmedo Franco
The nightmare in Minnesota continues. Olmedo "Beans and" Franco is out for the season with a nerve problem. PB's nerves are shot also.
