THE WEEK IN WRIGLEYVILLE SEASON 27 #3

TRADES
The PHILADELPHIA  CHEESE STEAKS traded Ellis Thomas to the CHEYENNE BAGWELL BASHERS for Gene Larish
Gbuck has his Cheese Steaks Sizzling. And he is working the trading grill, moving  players with several trades this week. This first trade was made to help Philly's bullpen. Larish was a DITR in season 23 and while his splits are low, he has a killer sinker. Cheyenne gets a prospect with some upside but Thomas is a injury risk.

The PHILADELPHIA CHEESE STEAKS traded Yamil Amaro to the VANCOUVER BLITZ for Napoleon Jodie
In this second trade, Gbuck traded away a really nice pitcher. Who in season 23 was bought in the IFA market for 20 million dollars. Amaro was having a down year with a 7.16 ERA and Gbuck sent him packing to the World Champs. Blitz sent a prospect with control problems to Philly. The Champs just got stronger.

The PHILADELPHIA CHEESE STEAKS traded Charley Tenbrink and 3.4 million to the MADISON MUSKELLUNGES for Bingo Bradshaw
Gbuck signed Tenbrink in the off-season and had buyers remorse after Tenbrink started slow with a 5.91 ERA. He shipped him and a bag of cash to the Muskies for a hitting prospect. Gbuck didn't get much in return for Tenbrink other than clearing cap space for the next 2 years.

The PHILADELPHIA CHEESE STEAKS traded Hanley Taylor to the SALEM SALMONBELLIES for Johnny Witt and Vicente Gonzalez
Taylor was added in a earlier blockbuster trade with Tampa Bay. And I was surprised he traded this nice pitching prospect after trading away a couple M L pitchers in the earlier trades. Taylor will be a stud and really good pitchers are a premium. Salem sent a couple average hitting prospects...nice move Mdymond.

M L INJURIES
Chris Burke
Hoopcoach's studly CF'er will miss 2 weeks with a torn miniscus. Chris "P Cream" Burke Makes 9.4 million a year, that can buy alot of Doughnuts.

Jason Ross
Jason "Glengary Glen" Ross will miss the rest of the year with forearm nerve irritation. The injury is better than foreskin nerve irritation. I know!!

Brennan Marson
Brennan "Men are from" Marson has a sore rotator cuff and will be out for 2 months. This should give him time to take a gender sensitivity course.

Rob McNamara
Rob "In the Hood" McNamara has a cramp in his forearm and will miss 2 weeks. He is pissed that he was left off the playoff roster and missed out on a Ring. He may Nick one!!

Phillip Pryce
Jeff signed Phillip "Fisher" Pryce to a 3 year contract , now he will miss most of the year with a torn finger. He doesn't play well with others !!!

Ramiro Pena
Ramiro "Ball" Penna was traded last year to the RLD's and it looked like Jeff had another tool for a run this year. Now he will miss 2 months a broken arm. He is a Tool after all.

Albert Bernadina
Albert "O Boy" Bernadina has a stiff hammy and will be out 2 weeks. Oh boy Albert!!

Bill Medlen
Fencer thought he got off cheap when Bill "Bronze" Medlen broke his elbow earlier this season and missed only 2 weeks. Now he will miss another 2 weeks with a strained hammy. Bronze Medlen is dragging the team down.

2 million and a S/T invite for a very interesting pitching prospect. Not often do you see a guy with a great 3 and 4 pitch and a average 1 and 2 pitch.??? Then again it may be my 4 million advanced scouting messing with my view.
