It's been 3 years since Freddie "Be" Long has hit the D L. This time he will miss 2 weeks with a partial tear of his Be-forearm. Freddie Be-strong .


Yannick Earley
Yannick "Panic" Earley is back on the D L for 2 weeks with a broken wrist. What..the ...hell?? A broken wrist is only 2 weeks?? How about being more realistic WIS. It's good news for gbuck's Scrappers. 


Ross Steele
Ross "Chinese" Steele will miss 2 months with a torn knee ligament. Chinese steel is brittle!


Ted Brush
This is the second stint on the D L for Ted "Toilet" Brush this year. He was abused by the original owner of the Yankees after he flushed this team down the drain. Fencer to the rescue, but he may want to wear a hazmat suit?


Felipe Zurbaran
Felipe "Burgers" Zurbaran has a stiff groin and will be out 2 weeks. Jeff will put him to work this weekend at his annual Memorial Day Outdoor BBQ.


Howard Allen
Well....Howard "Johnsons" Allen is on the D L for the second time this year. He will miss 2 weeks with a sore shoulder. Avantrael has a room with a view to this Boner of a player.


Alexi Hernandez
Poor Avantrael!!! A second player makes a curtain call on the DL this year. Alexi "con" Hernandez will miss another 2 weeks. This time with a bad hammy.There aren't enough words to describe this bad luck for the Northmen.  


Cookie Bennett
"Tracking" Cookie Bennett will miss the rest of the season with a hurt neck. You can usually find this Black Bear riding the pine. No more......I'm not sure if he will be healthy when free agency rolls around.


Mariano Rivera
Son of a B&$@#!!!!!! My second set-up A guy is out for the season. Mariano "Buick" Rivera blew a tire and is in a ditch. Maybe Sandberg has some spare Toyota parts that will fit, they don't make Buick's any more.. 


Gill Laffey
Gill "Last" Laffey will be out the rest of the season with a torn labrum. This will be the last of a solid career after 13 years in the Majors. So long and Thanks for the laughs Gill!!
