THE WEEK IN WRIGLEYVILLE SEASON 26 #3

TRADES
The CINCINNATI RED LIGHT DISTRICTS traded Yamaico Lin to the SANTA FE BLUES for R.J. Roque and 2,500,000
TC chatted this ad: R.J. Roque is on the block now. I am still looking to move some position player off my ML roster to make a promotion. RJ doesn't interest you take a look and send an offer.
And Jeff swooped in and traded a Catching prospect for the Roquester. Jeff loves power bats and he has a good one at a bargain price. TC gets to move up his prospect while getting a need for his farm system. Good trade for both teams.

The JACKSONVILLE JUGGERNAUTS traded Peter Martin  , Wayne Howard and 4,000,000 to the NEW ORLEANS NAWLINS for Ray King
This is a big trade here. This could make a good Jacksonville team great in the future. Wish sent two good players and 4 million to Nawlins for a future stud. Bobd got a really nice SP prospect that was stuck in AAA due to Jacksonville's great pitching rotation . Howard has a great OBP of .410 and will want big money in next years Arbitration. Big trades can make or break a team.....this one looks good if King can start hitting after a slow start in the Bigs.

The TACOMA TOYOTAS traded Junior Acosta to the AUGUSTA NORTHMEN for Fritz Jepsen
Looks like Avantrael needed a solid Catcher to handle his pitching staff and keep base runners honest. The Northmens CS% wasn't bad at .308 , it will get a boost with this trade. Sandberg picked up a very nice bullpen prospect.

M L INJURIES
Julio Fernandez
Julio Fernandez has pitched in the majors for 15 years. I drafted this kid way back in season 6 and other than elbow surgery in season 10, he's been durable. This time he only missed 2 weeks with a stiff groin. Age may finally have caught up with this old guy.

Howard Allen
Howard "Johnsons" Allen feels right at home in Augusta after he left my team for free agency and signed with Wish's team. He has been a anchor in the Northmen bullpen and a sore elbow will keep him out 2 weeks. don't worry, he will be home soon.

Victor St. Clair
Victor "Huge No" St Clair broke his arm and may be out most of the year. If you asked me: Will this guy will make a good ML SP?...........the answer is..........NO

Hector Mercado
Hector Mercado has spent most of the year in the pen. A sore shoulder will keep him on the shelf for 2 weeks.

Wandy Matos
Everybody knows that Wandy "Nothing really" Matos is a big Metallica fan. He could miss the rest of the the year after he broke his arm at a concert.

Diego Arredondo
It's been a few years since we've seen Diego "DA" Arredondo on the DL. He's been prosecuting batters in WASH, RICH, and CINCY  since he tore a labrum in season 21. Now he will be out just over a month with a sprained shoulder. Someone needs to throw the book at this guy!!

Matty Cruz
Ressda signed Veteran Matty Cruz in the off-season to give his young team a experienced bat off the bench. It Looks like he will miss most of this year with a torn groin. Gettin old Sucks!!

Danny Baker
Danny "Bru" Baker was ill treated in Little Rock and when Bobd4967 took over he paroled him with time served. Gbuck took in the convict and now he will be laid up for a month. No good deed goes unpunished

Mark Brock
Mark "Sinking like a" Brock was a waiver claim last year for the RedTails. A sprained shoulder will keep him out for a couple of months. Jmuhtoff is ready to put Brock in a sack and throw him off a bridge in the water. Kaplunk!!
