TRADES

The FARGO PRAIRIE DOGS traded Fritz Gruber and 800,000 to the SCOTTSDALE SCHIZOIDS for Jung Bong
I put a claim in on Gruber and Aaron pulled him back. After a couple counter offers we came to an agreement. I picked up another starting pitcher that was having a bad year and career wise.He has lost more games then he's won. Maybe he will have a breakout year in Scottsdale , but it's a gamble. Aaron picked up Bong and you can never have enough Bongs!  Bong is a good young 3rd base prospect that can do alot of things well. He's no superstar but could be a solid fielder and hit .280 with 20 stolen bases. He is also the son of the great Ganja Bong who smoked his way thru the Bigs.


The SAN FRANCISCO KICKAPOOS traded Christian Shin to the ARIZONA COBRAS for Gustavo Ethier
Shin was put on the waiver wire and maybe Arizona was awarded the claim. Just guessing? Arizona gets some insurance in the catching dept . Shin is a solid defensive backstop with very good power. The only problem is , he strikes out more than he hits. The Kickapoos got a Minor league guy who may get a shot at the bigs during Marks re-build.



The SANTA FE BLUES traded Gus Grossman to the ARIZONA COBRAS for Esteban Lee
Tchagnon signed Grossman in the off-season but his heart was always in Arizona. He will be back in a Cobra Uni and try and help Swish win it all. Santa fe got a minor league defensive player and a Carlos Danger picture.

Howard Ruffin
Howard Ruffin "The Passer" will miss 2 weeks with a strained hammy. If he doesn't get a new contract from Sandberg he could be traded to the NFL?


Jimmie Guerrero
"Top" Jimmie Guerrero will be out 3 weeks with a dislocated shoulder. Top Jimmie will have to be on the bottom when bumpin uglies. Egads..looks like two Pigs in Rythm!!


Tony Jang
Tony "Wang Dang Sweet Poon" Tang is back on the DL. He will miss 2 weeks with a sore rotator cuff. Wanging and Danging poontang can be harmfull. My good fortune to tout another Ted Nugent song,Sweet!!!


Floyd McAnaney
The Black Bears gave Floyd "The Droid" McAnany a big Contract after he won his 4th GG at 2nd base. Now he will miss 2 weeks with a strained hammy. This Black Bear is a defensive machine, olemiss will miss his D.


Andres Martin
Andres "Pine" Martin will be out 3 weeks with a inflamed shoulder. This good young pitcher may turn out to be a DL Darling. He needs to grow a set of Pine Nuts.


Rheal Scott
Ah.....One of my favorite DL Darlins is back at it. Rheal "E" Scott will be out another 6 months with Elbow Surgery. EeeeGads!


Heath Aldridge
What a shame for the Black Sox fans. This excellent rookie was having a great start to his career and had people on the edge of their seats. Heath "Cliff" Aldridge will miss 4 months with shoulder surgery. Hopefully this cat will land back on his feet next year.


Shane Ryal
Shane "No O" Ryal is back _n the DL and will miss tw_ weeks with a Strained Gr_in. Jacks_nville is his seventh team in seven years. This guy may get the Ryal Flush d_wn the t_ilet next year in free agency.


Kenny Byrne
Kenny "Rug" Byrne will only miss 2 weeks. Rug Byrne was on fire last year but he has cooled this season.Will Kenny pull out the Rug on Austins season?


Omar Paul
Another Black Sox rookie goes on the 60 day DL. Omar "Pyle" Paul says Gu-olllllllie!


Pascual Vargas
This guy will be out the rest of the year with a broken Clavicle.


David Furcal
Believe it or not?? This player broke his Elbow and will only miss 2 weeks. WIS is pissing on our leg and telling us it's raining.
