It happened all of a sudden as do a lot of things in HBD.One of the many FA signings by St Louis went down with a serious injury.The outfielders were shagging flies when Wiki Arias crumpled to the ground in apparent pain.The training staff worked on the Fielding Phenom from Ramon Santana ,DO and after a few tense moments the crash cart was summoned. The hopes of a Silverhawks World Series were carted off the diamond. I reached shynet by phone after being briefed by the St Louis training staff. I asked Shynet the question that was on the lips of every Silverhawk fan."How bad is Wikis Injury?" shynet said."Listen I don't have a lot of time here but i will answer a few questions. From what I've been told Wiki is going to miss most of this year and we hope with the rehabilitation he can be back for the playoffs." He paused so i interjected."So this is a bad way to start your first season in Wrigleyville.Are you Angry at the HBD Gods??" .There was an exasperated breath on the other end and shynet spoke eloquently. "In the words of the great Jack Nicholson...Its not the fact that you've had it so rough that pisses you off. It's the fact that others have it so good." With that Shynet said he had to go and hung up the phone.
